• Posdoc: Zebrafish behavior or neuronal data analyis, Eranet SysBio postdoc contract (in collaboration with G. Sumbre. U. Straehle & E. Schneideman). Starting date: Summer 2010.
We are interested in the quantitative understanding of animal behaviour. We seek to understand the underlying mechanisms and evolutionary principles.

We perform creative
mathematical modelling, data analysis and experimental work.

Current projects include:

  • Decision-making
  • Social behavior
  • Tracking & recognition of animals in groups
  • Brain wiring, electrophysiology  and imaging
Students and posdocs with training in Physics, Mathematics or Engineering and an interest in Neurobiology or animal behaviour are encouraged to apply.
